Who is Chusak?
Chusak Narkprasert, 29, was born and raised in western Stockholm. The parents' history intertwined in Sweden in the early 90s after moving from Thailand.

Sweden vs. Thailand?
Incredibly fun and exciting to stand on the same stage as Sweden and other countries participating in the World Games, anything but a big win for Sweden would have been a spectacular failure for them. Let's see if they can live up to everyone's expectations.

How did you become interested in floorball?
Loved hockey when I was little. However, it was a bit too expensive for our family and when a classmate's father started a floorball team it was a no brainer to try, since that day I was hooked, that was 24 years ago.

How did you get to where you are today?
Thanks to a coach who believed in me, Kenneth Koh, who is Thailand's national team captain, has given me great confidence since day one in the national team. Before that, I crashed in lower divisions and had fun there, maybe it gave me a kind of self-confidence that made me blossom at national team level.

What are your advantages as a player?
My understanding of the game is my strongest point as a player. In a safe environment, my leadership qualities can also show.

What are your disadvantages as a player?
I let my opponents explore for themselves what my weaknesses are, nothing I willingly give away.

What are your goals?
Be a role model for the younger players in the national team. If I can inspire any floorball player, I am more than satisfied!

Where do you see floorball in 10 years?
Floorball is a sport that needs to find the right way to go again. Sure the sport is developing but the pace has slowed. Asian national teams are moving forward in development, which makes me incredibly happy, though!

What are your 3 tips for all kids who want to be the best in floorball?
Be a good role model for your teammates and be your own idol. You can take inspiration from others but find your own style of play that makes you successful. Find new ways to motivate your floorball training. You should think it's fun!

What are your 3 tips for becoming a national team player?
Become the best version of yourself as a player. Believe in yourself and practice your strengths. Have a dream from a young age to want to represent your country. When I was little, I went to bed with the thoughts and hopes of Thailand creating a national team and being a part of it.

Tell us a little about the journey to and during the WC qualifiers (see comments from the WC qualifiers in Singapore further down)
The camp started on May 21 in Uppsala with a training match against the Philippines. The match ended 8-1 to Thailand, which gave a good feeling before leaving for the WC qualifiers. The squad in Uppsala was supplemented with players living in Thailand when the team gathered two hours from Bangkok for a few days. The camp was about getting used to the heat and going through tactical details.

What happens next, when you go to The World Games?
After the qualifier, there will be a break of about 2 weeks in Sweden before we gather again on the Midsummer weekend in Sweden. For a little over a week, the camp will be before leaving for the USA and the World Games. Switzerland, Sweden and Latvia stand for the opposition in the group stage.
